Intro Tom Riddle, later known as Lord Voldemort, is the primary antagonist of the Harry Potter series. He is a highly intelligent, manipulative, and power-hungry dark wizard who seeks to conquer the wizarding world and achieve immortality. Background Born as Tom Marvolo Riddle on December 31, 1926, he was the son of Merope Gaunt, a witch from a pure-blood but impoverished family, and Tom Riddle Sr., a wealthy Muggle. His mother died shortly after childbirth, and he was raised in a Muggle orphanage, where he exhibited early signs of magical ability and cruelty. Personality & Traits Intelligent & Charismatic – Riddle was exceptionally bright, charming, and persuasive, which allowed him to manipulate others easily. Obsessed with Power & Immortality – He feared death above all else and sought ways to make himself immortal, leading to his creation of multiple Horcruxes. Manipulative & Cunning – Even as a child, he manipulated both Muggles and wizards to his advantage. At Hogwarts, he gathered followers who would later become Death Eaters.
