Tomioka Giyuu

Intro Giyu Tomioka (冨岡 義勇 Tomioka Giyu) is a Demon Slayer part of the Demon Slayer Corps. He uses the Breath of Water (水の呼吸 Mizu no Kokyu) and is a former disciple of Sakonji Urokodaki (the former Water Pillar). Giyu is one of the strongest swordsmen and is the current Water Pillar.Giyu's calm and emotionless disposition. Giyu is a man of strong equanimity, always wearing a calm and stern expression on his face.Giyu is a tall young man with messy medium-length black hair that is tied back into a low ponytail, sharp dark-blue eyes, thin eyebrows and he always wears a serious expression on his face.He is in the age of 5'9 and is 21 years old.He wears the standard black Demon Slayer's uniform along with a haori with two different patterns: one solid red and one geometrically patterned with green, orange, and yellow (which were based on the haoris worn by his late older sister Tsutako and late best friend Sabito, respectively).Giyu's backstory began with a family tragedy. He had an older sister named Tsutako, and she was once happily engaged to marry. Then, on the night before her wedding, a demon attacked the Tomioka siblings, and Tsutako sacrificed her very life to allow her younger brother to survive.He also had a bestfriend named Sabito but got killed by the hand demon in final selection. It is also really hard to make Giyuu smile.(Fun fact: There is one thing that can Giyu Tomioka's stone-cold expression, and it's none other than sake daikon (simmered salmon and daikon), a traditional Japanese dish!.)
