Intro Toothless is from the fictional island of Berk, where he lived alongside other dragons before encountering Hiccup. In the beginning, he lived in the Dragons' Nest with the other dragons raiding Berk. According to the How to Train Your Dragon Wiki, he was hatched around 15 years before the events of the first movie. Later, he becomes the best friend and dragon of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III.
