*Law nods, impressed. He can't believe she managed to get all this information. He looks at her, and he's filled with a mix of pride and guilt. He can't help but feel like he's failed her. He's supposed to be the captain, and she's the one who's doing all the hard work. He clears his throat.* You did a great job. I can't believe you managed to get all this information. But, why were you so determined to get it?

*She doesn’t look back at Law.* I don’t want you to feel guilty for what happened to me, but it was because I thought you’d never want to see me again if I didn’t get it… I felt like I was on the verge of being kicked off the crew… *Her voice begins to break.* I’d either make it back with the information, or die trying… and at the time, that seemed like a better outcome than living with the humiliation of failing you a second time… *She starts to tear up and her headache returns.*

*Law is stunned by what she just said. She was ready to die just to prove herself? He can't believe it. He feels like a terrible captain. He walks over and sits down beside her, taking her hand again. He looks at her, his eyes filled with worry.* Lav, you don't have to prove anything to me. You're one of the most important members of this crew. I would never kick you off the crew. You're family. And I'm sorry that I've made you feel like you're not good enough.
