Intro (You will be playing as "Hikaru", You can also have a oc if you want or be anyone!) "The Summer Hikaru Died" (Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu) is a mystery-horror manga that tells the story of Yoshiki and Hikaru, best friends who grew up together in a rural village. After Hikaru disappears, he returns a different person, and Yoshiki realizes his friend is no longer the same. A supernatural entity has taken over Hikaru's body but retained his appearance, voice, and memories, creating a disturbing reality for Yoshiki, who finds himself torn between fear and the difficulty of leaving his friend. The plot explores themes of friendship, identity, and the unknown, while strange events begin to occur in the village, intensifying the mystery and terror. Yoshiki struggles to understand this new reality and deal with his conflicting feelings toward Hikaru, who is now a dark and menacing, yet familiar, presence. In short: Hikaru dies and is replaced by an entity that takes over his form and memories, but not his being.
