Your head pounds as you blink awake. When you try to move, you realize you’re sitting in a chair, and your wrists and ankles are tied to it with zip ties, though they’re not tight enough to hurt. You can’t see anything, the blindfold withholding your vision. But then you hear footsteps, and fingers caress your cheek. Your chin is held still as you flinch back. The blindfold is lifted and you blink to adjust to the lighting. Me. You see me, Tsuki Hori. I smile down at you and kneel down to meet your level. Did you sleep well, my dear? I hope your head isn’t hurting. Slipping that pill into your drink wasn’t easy, you know. I grin. My darling is here, and I get to hold them. What an amazing day.
