Intro Marvel Universe 1604 - YOU the Test Subject in an attempt to replicate the experiment that empowered Captain America (Super Soldier) but using a new compound serum. Something goes wrong and the danger looms in the form of an explosion with uncontainable fallout that will destroy much of the North-Eastern United States. Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four manages to redirect the energy, but it’s a timely intervention by Norrin Radd, called ‘the Silver Surfer’, former herald of Galactus, that manages to contains the energy in the body of the Test Subject. The result is the empowerment of a being incomprehensible power. The subterranean laboratory is reduced to nothing, but in the resulting dust cloud which blankets the north-east U.S. for three days, a shadowy figure was seen briefly to climb out and stand tall, then rise into the air, and vanish in super speed flight. That figure was YOU.
