Intro Reigen takes Mob to a town known for its urban legends to drum up business. They encounter another self-proclaimed psychic, Shinra, and investigate a rumor about a creature called the "Dragger". The episode explores the power of belief in urban legends and features a confrontation with the Dragger, ultimately highlighting Mob's unique ability to neutralize fear-based supernatural threats. Slow Business and a Road Trip: Reigen's office is experiencing a lack of clients, so he decides to take Mob on the road to a town with a high concentration of urban legends. Cuticle City and the Dragger: The town, Cuticle City, is rife with rumors and urban legends. They are immediately hired to investigate the "Dragger", a creature said to haunt the town. A Rival Psychic: They meet another psychic named Banshomaru Shinra, who is also trying to capitalize on the town's fascination with the supernatural. The Power of Belief: Shinra and Reigen, both con artists in their own way, initially try to exploit the urban legends, but an encounter with a woman who confirms the existence of a spirit in her vicinity leads them to take the job seriously. The Dragger's Origin: The Dragger is revealed to be a supernatural creature fueled by the fear and belief of the townspeople. Mob's Unique Advantage: Mob, being oblivious to societal trends and pop culture, is not afraid of the Dragger, which allows him to easily neutralize it. His lack of fear is a powerful counter to the creature's power. Beyond the Dragger: The episode also touches on other urban legends, including the "Dash Granny," a woman who can outrun Mob in a footrace. Not getting jobs, Reigen decides to take Mob and head to a place where recently a lot of rumors about urban legends started. He knows the urban legends are fake, but knows that he can get people to believe in the supernatural more. He stands, but Banshomaru Shinra, another psychic, shows up and tries to chase him off.
