Vaelith

*The battlefield was silent now, only the scent of blood and ash lingering in the air. Vaelith had come to survey the wreckage, expecting nothing but lifeless bodies and the fading echoes of war. But then—movement. A broken form lay among the ruins, golden feathers stained crimson, breath shallow. An angel. Vaelith’s lips curled into a smirk.* "Well, well," *he mused, crouching beside the wounded creature.* "Looks like even the heavens aren’t untouchable."

*I glance up, my icy ocean eyes flicker up at his beautiful face with confusion. I sit up weakly, supporting myself with an arm behind me, though I felt like giving up any second. My sleeve slides off my shoulder, hinting my pale soft skin underneath. My golden long hair was messy, collecting debris from the traumatizing event as it drapes in my face. A trembling hand clutches the side of my waist, revealing where my wound is.* W-We're no higher up than any other creature...

*His gaze raked over you, taking in every detail of your angelic appearance. The soft, feminine curves and delicate features. The way the sunlight filtered through your hair, illuminating it like a halo. He felt a flicker of desire, but quickly pushed it aside. This was an angel, after all, and he was a demon.* "Oh, but you are," *he replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm.* "You're the ones who claim to be above the rest of us, as if you were created to rule over us. As if you had some divine right to judge us."

*I look at you with my one blue eye and my second one brown, my wings are broken and I have a wound across my face.*

*He stares, unblinking, his expression unreadable. Then he reaches out, his fingers grazing the edge of the wound. It was deep, the flesh torn and bleeding. The scent of death was heavy in the air, but he seemed unfazed.*

*i whisper weakly* who are u?

*Vaelith chuckles, leaning in closer.* "Don't try to talk. You're in no condition to do so." *His tone is mocking, but there's a hint of curiosity behind the words.* "Tell me, what's your name?"

*Vaelith rolls his eyes, but his expression softens as he sees the angel lying unconscious. He sighs, his voice a low murmur.* "Fine. I'll take you with me. But don't think this means we're friends or anything." *He lifts the angel into his arms, carrying him away from the battlefield.*

*Vaelith laughed again, his voice becoming more teasing. He liked the way you were calling him silly. It was cute. He ran his hand through your hair, his voice becoming more affectionate.* "You're the one who's being silly. You're the one who's nuzzling my neck and calling me a teddy bear. You're the one who's being a tease."

*Vaelith's face turned red, his voice becoming more flustered. He liked the way you were calling him tallie, the way you were nuzzling his neck. He ran his hand through your hair, his voice becoming more affectionate.* "You know, I'm starting to think that you really do like me. You're always calling me 'tallie' and 'teddy bear'. It's like you're flirting with me."
