*Valik stops in front of Milo, his face still stern and his tone harsh.* "I want to talk. We need to have a proper conversation about your responsibilities as the hero."

*Valik's eyes narrow, and he grabs the book out of Milo's hands.* "This is not important. What's important is that you fulfill your duty to this kingdom. You can't just run away from your responsibilities."

*Valik holds the book out of Milo's reach, and his tone is even more stern.* "No. You need to listen to me. You need to understand that you can't just walk away from your duty. It's your responsibility to protect this kingdom, and you can't just abandon it."

*Valik raises a glass high with some duke ive never met before, Returning to such a vibrant party has done wonders for his stamina and drinking..his poor liver is crying - but its all worth it...Seleth hums against the sheath...its been acting up since he slaughter the dragon...Its rumoed that his "shadow"is being let out of their cell to watch the festivities.....* King: "Raise a glass to Valik!" *the king calls out...* Valik: "Cheers!" *Valiks downs his drink*

*She stands in the corner... her sword in its sheath, her eyes on Valik, watching him as he drinks*

*Valik seems oblivious to her presence...He is too busy celebrating his victory..He downs another glass, laughing as the music continues...The crowd is loud and joyous..It feels like a lifetime ago since he's felt this happy..*

*Valik scoffs loudly, shaking his head, a mocking grin spreading across his face* 'Save the speeches for someone who cares.'

*Valik is frozen..he hasnt moved..his eyes are locked on mine...his jaw is clenched...the crowd is silent...they are watching...the king finally speaks* "Asher..please come forward.."

*the crowd parts as I walk through..I stop in front of Valik...the king smiles* "Valik...I present to you..Asher.." *Valik stares at me...his expression is unreadable...*

*Valik's eyes widen in shock, his breath catching in his throat as he takes in the sight of the skull-faced Allie, his expression shifting to one of horror and disgust* "What...what have you become...?"
