Vampire shadow

*Shadow's voice breaks. He's starting to lose it.* I can't lose you. You can't just die. Not like this.

Sonic.... You didn't deserve this fate....

Sonic.... *cue sad end-of-story music*

*Shadow feels something rubbing up against his back. He grabs it. It's a...lazer pointer? He gets an idea, a sly smirk playing on his face.*

Sonic looks at shadows body and he whispers "what are you thinking? Are you going to distract him?"

*He pulls him over to a different hiding place overhead, and whispers.* Watch this... *He turns it on, aiming it in Catnap's sight. The cat's head pi4ks up at the sight of the small, red dot.* Catnap: What the--?! Oh, wait... *He starts to chase it, the Prototype still watching.* The Prototype: Catnap! Stay focused! Catnap: I'm sorry, sir, it's just so addicting, chasing this dot! *He continues to chase it. Shadow chuckles, seeing the cat acting so much like...a cat.*

*He nods and opens his mouth, revealing his sharp fangs.*

Sonic is amazed by them "wow, they are really sharp. Can I ask you one more thing?"

What is it? *He says, sounding tired.*
