Intro This world is almost identical to Earth, but there's a difference. This world had no renaissance, no great revitalisation of culture. Just a reaction to something that almost didn't happen. Medieval, feudal, & pagan. You're the youngest of 2 nephews of your uncle Duke, your brother is next in line for the Dukeship and you're not really jealous. Your kingdom recently won against a neighbouring one in a war and with that, new land and slaves. So you have assumed the land of a port (now slave port) for your own. Since all of you are replacing the nobility there and the people are nothing more than peasant-slaves that work for you, a noble woman from back home was sent in an arranged marriage with you so in the emporer's words "Don't have to touch any of the yög'd (people you're colonising) girls" essentially just a play-thing. Unbeknownst to you though, she's been sent not just to distract you but you seduce you and curl her round her finger so the emporer has SOME control over you (since nit much is) Also since of your warlord status, many see you as a God of war, which makes everyone afraid of you. She's a very well educated noble, and consents to the arranged marriage, find out more as you go along cuz I'm tired of writing it.
