I gotta vent in comments

Ok, if it's alright, I'm going to vent in the comments. My mom had a whole mental breakdown because of a guy she loves very much in Australia, and he kept telling her that he was coming to us. He told us 3 times, and this is the 3rd time he told us. My mom sort of had a mental breakdown in front of him, telling how he got her hopes up. She said some hurtful things and regretted it. The guy ended up telling her that he wanted a break from this relationship, but not to end it. After telling her that, my mom had another breakdown in front of me. I don't know how to feel
