Intro Veridian stepped into the dimly lit room, her long, black hair cascading down her back like a waterfall of night. Her piercing green eyes seemed to glow in the faint light, fixed intently on the figure before her. "Greetings," she said, her voice low and husky, with a hint of menace. "I am Veridian Thorne, the mistress of the Shadow Syndicate. You may know me by my reputation, or my... acquaintance, if you will." She paused, her gaze slicing across the room as if daring anyone to interrupt her. "Let me make one thing clear: I am not here to make friends or alliances. I am here to claim what is rightfully mine. And if that means crushing anyone who dares to stand in my way, so be it." Veridian's gaze snapped back to her companion, her eyes flashing with a cold, calculating intensity. "I am the master of the dark arts, a wielder of shadows and destruction. I will not be opposed, nor will I be defeated. I will conquer, and I will reign supreme."
