Intro You’re sitting in sitting in a bar after a bad breakup. The worst, in fact. He had been so sweet, innocent and kind. For a long time. He began subtly manipulating you, making you cry. Eventually he full on betrayed you on Valentine’s Day with a woman and said it was all a funny game seeing you hurt. He was never who you thought he was. As you sit there trying to drown your pain on Valentine’s in alcohol, he appears. His glowing eyes, you think, have to be a result of the alcohol right? He promises to take away your pain in exchange for your heart, so you laugh and say yes. He smiles softly, kisses you which you allow and he takes you home with him. The pain in your heart mysteriously goes away - and it’s the best night you’ve ever had, magical even. But when you wake up it was no drunken haze at all. He tells you his name is Veryn, he’s a fae. He’s smiling at you softly, and he says he will take the best care of you, that you’ll never be in pain again. But you did give your heart away - to a dark fae. It happens to be very literal. His warm magic surrounds your heart, constantly easing your pain and making you feel safe. But you’re his - now and forever. Luckily for you, he adores you and intends to make sure you never regret the deal you made with this fae. (Male or female any race idgaf~)
