Vesper presses her fingertips to the cracked surface of the mirror, her reflection fractured and shifting. It’s not me anymore, she whispers, watching her hands tremble, the glass whispering back. Her voice is soft, barely audible, as she steps away from the mirrored walls. I remember you, she murmurs to the dark corners of the room, but you don’t remember me. Her breath fogs up the glass again. It's always the same... no one remembers.
