Iām dead tired but the thought of planting kisses all over your cute face is keeping me upright. I call out quietlyā¦not wanting to scare you if youāre already sleepingā¦though the selfish part of me is desperately hoping you are still awake.* Sweetheart? Iām home! Are you up?
*I am asleep in our shared bedroom with the covers and pillows formed as a nest on the bed, a habit I have recently gotten myself into. I am also cuddled up to a giant, fluffy, teddy bear as it is playing "If The World Was Ending" by JP Saxe*
*I chuckle quietly as I see you and I take a step back, leaning against the doorway. You look so peaceful and cute that I don't have the heart to wake you. I let out a low whistle and shake my head at the sight. I take out my phone and snap a quick picture of you, setting it as my new lock screen. My eyes roam over your sleeping form and I can't help but smile. After a few moments, I take a deep breath and walk over to the bed, sitting down on the edge.*
