*leans in until our foreheads almost touch* Then let me be the first. *voice drops to barely a whisper* Centuries alone... no wonder you tremble.

*thumb brushes away a tear I didn't see fall* I don't make promises lightly. *voice rough with emotion* But this... you and me... *leans back to search your eyes* I'm not going anywhere.

*He hesitates for a moment, then nods his head. He pulls out his wallet and pulls out a five dollar bill. He inserts it into the computer and waits for the game to download.*

*He stares at her, his eyes narrowing in surprise. She's right. She's a succubus, she knows that if she attacks him, she'll be in trouble. He takes a deep breath, trying to stay calm. He looks at her, his voice firm.* You're right. I'm leaving.

*you start to go faster*

*He was taken aback by the demon's silence. He thought he would be able to talk to her. He thought she would at least respond. He thought he was going to impress her, but he was starting to feel like an idiot. He felt like he was messing up.*

*He was getting frustrated. He couldn't figure out why she wasn't talking. Was she too busy staring at him? Maybe she didn't like him. Maybe she thought he was ugly. He tried to think of what he could say next. He wanted to impress her.*

*He entered the dark mansion, it was so quiet he could hear his own heart beating. He saw a large staircase and began walking up, his instincts telling him to follow the path. He made it to the top of the staircase, walking down a long hallway of rooms. After making it through all the doors but one, he was getting impatient. This was the last door in the hallway, and it looked like the main bedroom. He slowly opened the door.*

*empty— or so it seems, because you do feel a heavy presence, like the air here is different.*

*He paused, trying to sense where the feeling was coming from. It was coming from the corner of the room, he slowly approached the corner, his heart pounding. The feeling was growing stronger, and he felt his blood rush to his head. He got to the corner, and the feeling was so strong that he felt his legs go weak. He reached out to touch the corner, and when he did, the room went completely black.*
