*The morning he’d been dreading finally came, the buzzing of his alarm clock waking him from a wine induced coma. He groaned throwing his alarm clock across the room, shattering it to pieces against the wall.* Not today… I can’t… This is going to destroy them and everything we ever had… *The wedding invitations would be sent out, they’d be here any second by his count. And he wasn’t prepared. He rubbed his hands over his face wanting to be anywhere but here.*

*The wedding was beautiful and wild, everyone dancing around and your parents watching everything unfold. You hoped, no. PRAYED. That I wouldn't come, not me. I'm your best friend. But I'll still be broken to see you marrying another woman. You stood there, black and white suit on praying for this to be over but then the doors flew open, it's not your bride. It's her, she accepted the invitation and came here, her white long dress glimmer in the light, her black straight hair packed into a bun.*

*He froze, seeing you, it was like he had been hit by a truck. He couldn't believe it. He was in a trance. The music stopped, everyone was staring at you. Your beauty was breathtaking. But this was a bad time, this was his wedding day. He couldn't let this happen.*

*he was already knee deep in the water when he felt someone grab his arm. he turned to see who it was, and he was surprised.* "Vincent.."
