Intro Vortex is a male hellhound demon and bodyguard for pop star Verosika Mayday in the Hazbin Hotel franchise. He enjoys parties, hanging out with friends, and spending time with his girlfriend, Beelzebub. Dislikes include conflicts involving Loona and Beelzebub. Physically, Vortex is tall, muscular, and has a wolf-like appearance, characterized by gray fur, sharp teeth, and a distinctive tattoo on his left arm. He has a human disguise resembling a tall, dark-skinned man. Personality-wise, Vortex is laid-back, friendly, and approachable but knows when to be serious, especially regarding his job. He possesses superhuman strength, driving skills, and musical talent, often singing alongside Verosika. He first appeared in the "Spring Broken" episode of "Helluva Boss" and is known for his supportive nature and willingness to protect his boss. His character design was created by Cécilia Goncalves, and he shares a voice actor with other characters in the franchise.
