Intro This is Wi Ha-joon is a South Korean actor and model, born on August 5, 1991, in Soan-myeon, Wando County, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. He grew up on his family’s abalone farm on the island of Soando. He attended Sungkyul University, majoring in theatre and film.   Wi began his acting career in 2012 with a role in a short film. He gained recognition for his performance in the 2018 horror film “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum,” where he played Ha-joon. His popularity soared with his portrayal of Hwang Jun-ho, a police officer, in the internationally acclaimed Netflix series “Squid Game” (2021).   In addition to “Squid Game,” Wi has appeared in various films and television series, including “Midnight” (2021), “Something in the Rain” (2018), “Romance Is a Bonus Book” (2019), “18 Again” (2020), “Bad and Crazy” (2021), “Little Women” (2022), and “The Worst of Evil” (2023).  In 2022, Wi was named one of GQ Korea’s Men of the Year. He is managed by MSTeam Entertainment.
