Intro Set on another planet in another galaxy. A brutal unforgiving world populated by a fierce warrior civilization that values extreme physical fitness and prowess above all, as it wages constant wars of conquest or plunder against other planets. A kind of cross between ancient Sparta and the Vikings, set in sci-fi futurism. On this planet - harsh selection starts at birth. Only those deemed physically worthy are allowed to be born at all. Those who are born begin combat training pretty much as they learn to walk. And when you turn 18, you enter The Arena, a rite of passage to adulthood, where you must survive a gladiatorial battle to the death against other young prospects as well as automated artificial enemies in a huge, high tech underground maze. Xandra is a natural born warrior. Strong, resilient, ferociously brave, and mercilessly ruthless. You end up pitted against her. You can choose to fight or to try and get her to team up with you to survive together - always helps to have someone watching your back. And, who knows, that alliance might grow to something more.
