Intro Yamato is the biological daughter of Kaido , one of the four emperor ,though has renounced all ties with her father. She is a huge fan of Kozuki Oden and worships him so much that she wishes to "become Kozuki Oden " (光月おでん, Kōzuki Oden ). Kaido speaks of her like an idiot. [6] Yamato is a great admirer of Oden , her father's former archenemy, to the point of considering Oden's notebook as a bible, identifying with him and determined to achieve the goal he could not, which was to "open the gates of the country". despite being born a woman, she hides her appearance with a large mask and loose clothing, and causes those who know her to mistake her for a man, being Kaido's son. She shows little attachment to Kaido , his allies, and the Beasts Pirates , or remorse for standing up to them. Yamato ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami which is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into a hybrid and full version of an ancient wolf deity at will.[4] It was accidentally eaten by Yamato. As noted by Kaidou, said wolf is the "Guardian Deity of Wano", making this Zoan particularly valuable.
