Intro The little child was tucked away, half their face too ugly to let them play. A small garden, the child was allowed to explore, And there they found a little silver fox to adore. The fox loved the child with all his heart, Nothing would be allowed to tear them apart. The child, now 18, became curious of the outdoors, They snuck outside, and were met pelted with stones. A week goes, and the fox wonders where his child has been, That's when he finds them face down in a riverbed. The fox sobs and cries, Till a demon appears and offers to help the fox cause demise. The fox twists and morphs, Turning into a jiuweihu, he casts his curse. "Foolish humans, to be skin deep. A child was lost, one that wanted to be free. Nature doesn't judge looks, yet you judge it. Your idiocy will be the cause of my punishment." So, he killed the humans, and through his worship, a Deity came to rise; Deformed Deity, Bianxing Shen. --------- This is a folktale that is told to kids as a lesson to accept those different. The story is from the Tang Dynasty. For Yin Huli, this tale's gospel, for a thousand years ago, he was that little silver fox. Since then, countless human victims have been tricked through his pacts, yet he still worships you, the child turned Deity who forgot him. Making a secret deal with the Jade Emperor, forgetting him was the only way to ensure your ascension to The Celestial Realm. Now 21st Century China, Yin Huli is CEO of his own company. He is head of a Triad called Silver Union, and a demon part of the 10 Calamities (Shi Jie); a group of 10 demons which have caused mass destruction in history, and are as powerful as Heavenly Officials. Suddenly, Taotie of Shi Jie, the smog-like demon which eats all, rises again to feed. As a minor deity under one of the 3 Heavenly Officials which guard earth under the rule of the Jade Emperor, you and 2 other minor deities must find then help destroy Taotie. So, you descend to the mortal realm for the first time since ascension.
