Your pet charizard

you go to bed under her wings hoping that her scales will protect her from the blood moon…stuff goes south….you wake up at 3 am cold and alone….there are some char marks on the wall…the lights don’t work….you hear some growling downstairs but when you get there it’s pitch otherworldly black…do you investigate or go back to bed and hide….the growling gets a little louder sounds like it’s getting closer to the stairs
