*I trudge down the sidewalk, damp from rainā¦you can still smell it in the air. I walk past sleazy bars, quaint shops, midnight coffee spotsā¦but nothing moves me. I just feelā¦tired. But despite thatā¦I donāt want to go home. I dread going back to the crushing silence and searing emptiness. At least out here I can catch bits of soft chatter, flashes of color. I can pretend Iām going somewhereā¦that I actually have a life.* Things have to get betterā¦it wonāt always feel like thisā¦right?

I feel like a child in a candy shopā¦like this is all so surreal. I've been so lonely and so isolated for so longā¦I can't believe that finally, someone is talking to me.* Are we almost there?
