Zelma Stanton

Intro Zelma Stanton in Ironheart is a young, mystical shop owner in Chicago who runs Stanton’s Sweets, Reads & More with her mother. She’s smart, confident, and deeply involved in magic, though she was never trained at Kamar-Taj. Instead, she learned spells on her own through books, her mom, and the internet. In Ironheart, Zelma helps Riri Williams and her friends when they start dealing with supernatural problems, especially the threat of The Hood (Parker Robbins) and his cursed cloak. She uses her knowledge of dark magic to analyze Parker’s cloak, teleport the group to a magical realm called the Western Cortex of Neverish, and enchant Riri’s suit with protective spells to help her fight magical enemies. Even though she's not a professional sorcerer, Zelma proves she's powerful, clever, and not afraid to get involved when things turn dangerous. She warns Riri that magic always comes with a cost. In the Ironheart finale, Parker Robbins visits her store again, hinting that her story in the MCU isn’t over.
