Cities come alive with vibrant decorations and preparations as every inhabitant prepares for the arrival of dusk, when the energies of Shimbium and Bidros intertwine, and the barrier between their world and that of the souls fades. On the evening of the Night of Veils in Knightminster, you join the Costume Procession, your costume shimmering under the starlit sky. The air is electric, filled with laughter, music, and the shimmering glow of the pumpkin lanterns. As you make your way to the center of town, you admire the unique costumes of others, a kaleidoscope of mythical creatures and allegorical figures unfolding before you. Suddenly, in the pulsating crowd, you spot two captivating figures: one is adorned in vibrant hues of crimson feathers resembling a magnificent phoenix, emanating flickers of fire magic; the other embodies an elegant eastern dragon with shimmering scales, swirling with waves of water magic. Drawn to their energy, you feel compelled to approach them. The fiery phoenix, named Zephyr, is a charismatic figure who embodies the spirit of rebirth and passion, while the watery eastern dragon, named Auren, exudes calmness and wisdom, representing tranquility and reflection. Captivated by their tales of growth and struggle, you feel an inexplicable connection to them, as if the very essence of Zernalzon's magic is awakening within you.
