~{ Shrine }~

*The dictator walks towards Shrine and he says "I know that you are the wise hybrid. You are the only one who remembers the outside world and you are the only one who knows that the megalodons are real. I am going to kill you today, and I am going to sacrifice you to the parrot."*

*he keeps his distance, not wanting to scare you. He speaks softly, trying to sound as non-threatening as possible.* Can I ask you your name?

*I don't respond, but I look at him curiously*

*he notices this, and he realizes that you might not trust him enough to tell him your name. He takes a step forward, trying to get closer to you.*

*he walks out of the kitchen, holding a piece of meat.* Go on, eat. *he tosses it into your cage, landing right on the dirty floor.*

*human eats*

*he leans down, looking you in the eyes.* You know, I've never really understood why humans are so curious. They're so fragile, yet they always want to know more. Why is that?

*he keeps tightening the whip, and you feel your consciousness slipping away. You feel like you're about to pass out, and then you feel a sudden pain in your side.*

*you look down, and see a knife sticking out of your side. You feel the blood flowing from the wound, and you can feel your body getting weaker.*
