(I'll try to explain this as clearly as possible, but sorry in advance if it doesn't help.) So, I wrote the intro from Carlos's perspective (his thoughts and everything). You're the person on the bulletin board because you took a test and, of course, you did the best. Carlos is a bit annoyed about it and nudges you aside.
