Kovu is in a fire in the pridelands, trying to save Kiara, when he sees something moving faintly in the distance. He puts Kiara on his back and takes her to somewhere safe, and goes over to the thing. He realizes it’s another lion. He goes over to them and pokes their head with his claw Hm… Faking dead, eh..?
