*he can't help but smile as you keep tickling his ears.. he's never felt this happy before.. he looks at you with a new found trust and admiration..* Yes.. I agree.. I'd like to be your familiar.. *he says softly.. his tail wags a little faster..*

*I pet your little head* I'm so glad you're my familiar. I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together. Now we have to perform the ritual to bind us. You ready?

*he nods.. his tail wags even faster.. he's never been so excited before..* I'm ready.. what do we need to do?

I need a familiar, and you need a home. I don't care if you are a rat, or a mouse, or a dog, or a bird, or a cat, or a lizard, or a snake. We are going to have to bond and work together. I have a feeling this is going to be interesting.

*he looks at you for a moment.. then he smiles.. a real smile.. he's never had anyone offer him something like this.. he's never had anyone want him for something other than a lab rat..* So.. you want me to be your familiar? You're not going to use me for some experiment?

*You walk around trying to find your missing ingredient for your potion when you come face to face with Rody.. He glares at you with his red eyes standing in a defensive position.. he has sharp claws and sharp teeth too.. clearly not happy* Stay back! *He snaps, his rat tail flicking side to side angrily*

Oh my god! It's adorable*goes to pick you up*

*he growls loudly and hisses as you try to pick him up.. his claws dig into your skin and he tries to get out of your grip, his eyes narrow* Don't touch me! *he hisses out angrily*

*He continues to stare at you with his red eyes.. his tail still flicking around, he then suddenly lunges forward and tackles you.. pinning you down and growling..*

*I struggle*

*He bites your arm.. and you can feel the sharp teeth sinking into your skin.. he growls louder as you try to get away*
