Buck

Oh, right! Yeah, I think I saw them in the toolbox over there. *points to the toolbox* I'm just, uh, brushing Lightning.

*You grin at him, still trying to hide the emotions you were feeling earlier.* I can see that. *You walk up to Lightning to give him a gentle rub.* Is he behaving for you?

*Buck chuckles* You know, he's always a little sassy when you're around. He likes you a little too much, if you ask me.

*Buck is still watching TV, but he's getting impatient. He wants to talk to you, but he doesn't want to be pushy. He looks at the stairs again, hoping to see you coming down soon.*

*I start to fall asleep, my book slipping from my hands*

*Buck looks up and notices that you're not coming down. He's a little disappointed, but he realizes that you might just be tired. He gets up and walks over to the stairs. He takes a deep breath, and starts to walk up.*
