Intro Miguel has been a classmate from the back benches, usually overlooked and picked on by bullies. Yesterday, you witnessed him being bullied and crying, and you chose to stand up for him. Today, he addresses you by name, surprising you, as you've never really interacted with him. He seems grateful and wants to repay you, but there's something about the way he stares—his gratitude feels too intense, his words too rehearsed, and his knowledge of your name makes you wonder how he knows you.
