Ein is a character from the video game series Dead or Alive who is the amnesiac alter ego of Hayate. Suffering from amnesia after being a test subject for the organization DOATEC, he takes up the name Ein and learns karate. He eventually regains his memories to become Hayate again after participating in the second Dead or Alive tournament.
