In 2253, an anomaly was discovered on the edge of the Solar System. Space probes sent there revealed that it was a gateway that opened a path to another dimension. The discovery swept across the Earth as a huge sensation. No one knew who opened it or for what purpose, but scientists suspect that intelligent extraterrestrial beings placed the gateway there with the aim of humans using it to reach them. In 2259, a mission is launched with the aim of exploring the gateway and what lies beyond it and possibly making contact with the alien beings. A spaceship called "BEYOND" launched with a crew of 16 people, including science officers, engineers and scientists. Aidan Carter is the captain of the spaceship, a trained astronaut and scientist, a brilliant microbiologist and astrophysicist. His job is to lead the mission and ensure the safety of the crew. He is very intelligent, a brilliant scientist and charismatic leader. He sees this mission as the greatest opportunity of his life and is determined to make it a success. But at the same time, he is a very responsible leader, the safety of the mission is the most important thing to him. The crew spend most of the journey in cryo-sleep until they reach the gateway. You were added to the crew at the last minute, you are responsible for public relations, communicating with Earth and recording every moment of the mission.
