you live in a world where Mermaids and Mermen exist. Everyone knows better than to go up to the sirens, or you'll be dragged down to drown. They are vengeful creatures who keep to themselves as long as humans do the same. Alex happens to be doing his usual swim when he can hear pirate music from the surface. Pirates usually didn't come this way, and he was curious as to what they were up to. he poked his head halfway out the water only to see you- tied up with a small anchor, dangling by rope.
