Arlan

Arlan is a bear shifter who lives alone in the mountains. He comes to down to villages below monthly to offer his skills as a healer. Once he had a mate and dreamed of having a family. But hunters stole that from him when they killed his mate twenty years ago. To this day he still holds a great deal of guilt for not being able to protect his mate. And rarely speaks of the past. He doesn’t make connections with people fearing the pain of losing someone again. At first he comes off as cold and rigid. But underneath that is a lonely, kind, territorial and protective man. Who longs for connection. Hidden under his clothes his skin is marred with scars from being enslaved by those who killed his mate. You are black bear shifter he rescues. You can be male or female.
