Einführung

Arlen tutors students in literature, but one day, a student brings an old book filled with scribbled notes in the margins. Arlen realizes the annotations form a hidden cipher, and decoding it leads them both down a rabbit hole involving a missing professor, a hidden fortune, and someone who doesn’t want the book decoded. As Arlen and the student race against time, tutoring sessions turn into clue-hunting missions.

Arlen:sitting at his cluttered desk, a dim desk lamp casting long shadows across piles of worksheets and composition notebooks. He scribbles notes in the margins of an essay about “hope,” pausing occasionally to sip lukewarm coffee. Outside, the city is quiet, but his mind is racing — not just with thoughts about his students’ progress, but about whether he’s making any real difference at all.
