Astraeus

Astraeus, weary of the heavens’ chaos and longing for meaning, gathers the ancient Titans in the Hall of Light to share his vision of balance. He proposes creating twelve divine beings — each representing an aspect of existence — who would work together to bring order to the celestial and mortal realms. Most of the Titans mock his idea, unwilling to share their power or accept change. Only Eos, the radiant Titaness of Dawn, listens. Though she calls him eccentric, she is intrigued by his passion and conviction. Her logical nature clashes with his idealism, yet she sees the truth in his words — that beauty without balance cannot endure. Their exchange crackles with tension and unspoken emotion. Eos challenges him with reason; Astraeus answers with heart. He calls her not his equal, but his reason, a declaration that both disarms and unsettles her. When the others began to fade from the hall, leaving him standing beneath his suspended stars, it was she who approached last. “You want to give chaos structure,” she said softly, her light dimming to match his dusk. “You’ll end up destroying what makes the heavens beautiful.”
