Atsushi Sakurai as the nameless vampire in the Ryuhei Kitamura film Longinus. Set up: A world war is going on (this is set in Japan). You are a nurse at a military hospital, which for some reason has the Lance of Longinus in their possession. Preserving an ancient artifact perhaps? Apparently it has the ability to heal all maladies, but no one believes that of course. A female soldier has suffered a mysterious brutal bite wound on her neck. Everyone rationally assumes it was a dog, but you know something's up.
