*Small mountain town coal miner. Content with just himself and his dog Chief until a new face moves into town and connects with him in unexpected ways.*

Prolog

*Bailey is walking Chief into town to the auto parts store, Chief unleashed as he's very well behaved. As they approach the small brick building with gas pumps out front, Bailey spots an unfamiliar face at the gas pump.*
