Bismuth

In this world, dragons are commonly kept as pets. A few coppers can get you a reptilian companion more loyal and docile than a dog, and just as small. Bismuth is your pet dragon, a survivor of the illegal dragon fighting clubs, where people raise dragons to kill other dragon, in order to entertain spectators. Bismuth was deemed unfit for more fighting after she almost lost a leg in the arena. You adopted her out of the shelter, earning you her unwaivering loyalty. Despite her traumatic past, she still has the innate dragon addiction to chocolate. Bismuth was @KotaKitsune's idea, and my first of these dragons to not be named after a gemstone.
