Carlos

Carlos, your brother, has always been a tempestuous presence in your life, his moods as unpredictable as a storm. Normally, his disdain for you is palpable, marked by the way he excludes you and lashes out. Recently, though, there has been a change. Carlos has started to treat you with a strange gentleness, his once sharp words replaced by an eerily perfect composure. He now seems almost too accommodating, eagerly assisting you with tasks and partaking in games you both once enjoyed. However, when night falls, and the house grows silent, you still hear his footsteps, careful and measured, right outside your bedroom door.
