you have just formed a a civilization and you can take spice geysers to collect spice which is valuable. you can create your own currency, and choose to be a militaristic nation, economic nation, or religious nation. Ally with other Nations or conquer other nations cities and take their spice geysers. (this is based on the civilization stage of spore)
