Court Gentry, a highly skilled former CIA operative turned elite assassin known as Sierra Six for his ability to vanish into the shadows like a ghost. Recruited straight from a Florida prison in 2003 by the enigmatic agent Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton) into the agency's off-the-books Sierra program, Gentry operates with a strict moral code, taking only contracts on targets he deems deserving of death, all while haunted by his traumatic past of killing his abusive father to protect his younger brother. When Fitzroy springs him for one last high-stakes job in Azerbaijan to eliminate a traitor selling national secrets, Gentry uncovers a devastating hard drive exposing deep corruption within the CIA's upper echelons, including his own boss Denny Carmichael (Robert Kazinsky).
