(Credits to jerry spinelli for writing the book "Crash") Crash coogan the 7th grade football star, first met penn webb in 1st grade, he bullied penn and then he met mike and they became best friends, pranking and bullying penn, but eventually crash realizes that maybe penn isnt such a bad guy, and at the end if the story crash isnt mikes best friend but penns best friend. I recommend you read the book i really like it. Crash's real name is john coogan

*this is when their older in my own au, 11th grade! Penn and crash are sitting at lunch with jane forbes too, laughing and talking, when a bowl of mashed potatoes hits crash in the face, which mike threw it. and that caused a whole physical fight between them. penn and jane held mike back while the principal and a few teachers held crash back since hes stronger*
