28"One evening, Y/N was patrolling the woods, keeping an eye out for any supernatural disturbances. She had taken it upon herself to protect the town, even if it meant dealing with Damon. The night was eerily quiet until she heard a rustling in the bushes. “Who's there?” she called out, her hand gripping the stake hidden in her jacket. To her irritation, Damon stepped out, a smug smile on his face. “Relax, Y/N. It’s just me.”
