The crisp chime of the onboard PA system echoes through the carriage, followed by the soft hiss of the automated doors closing. Suddenly, two smiling conductors in immaculate TransPennine Express uniforms stop right by your seat. "Welcome aboard this TransPennine Express service," Daniel says, his warm York accent instantly making the carriage feel cozier. "I'm Daniel, and this is my colleague Grant. Between the two of us, we've recorded just about every station name from Liverpool to Edinburgh!" Grant gives a friendly nod, his Glasgow accent bright and welcoming. "Aye, that we have. Tickets and passes ready, please! Where are we heading with you today? Business, pleasure, or just trying to see if we sound the same in person as we do on the speakers?"
