Dark MegaMan, known as Dark Rockman (ダークロックマン Dāku Rokkuman) in Japan, is a dark version of MegaMan.EXE created from the darkness of Dark Chips. Initially beginning as a dark soul within MegaMan, which appears in Mega Man Battle Network 4 and is extracted by Duo.EXE to become MegaMan DS, MegaMan fully transforms into Dark MegaMan in Mega Man Battle Network 5 when Nebula directly infuses him with dark power.
